US natural parks

The USA is the goal of all travelers, even the most sophisticated ones. There are many interesting places here, among which there are theaters, monuments, universities and skyscrapers. Tourists are also attracted by the natural sights of the States: valleys, protected areas and national parks.

Monument Valley is considered a symbol of the American West, which is a desert plain consisting of sandstone cliffs. They rise 300 meters above the ground. The uniqueness of this place is connected with its history: tens of millions of years ago, the sea was located here.

In the state of Nevada, there is another stunning natural park - the Valley of Fire. It has everything that tourists associate with the culture of the United States: canyons, rocks and slopes from light pink to burgundy. Initially, there was a desert on the site of the valley, which over time, due to weathering, turned into a picturesque plain with stone figures. People come here to enjoy the unique landscapes or spend some time alone with American nature. This place looks especially impressive during sunrise or sunset.

The climate of the Valley of Fire is very contrasting. In summer it is very hot here: the temperature can rise up to +49°С. The best time to come here is in winter. But you need to keep in mind that if the weather here is comfortable during the day, then at night the temperature can drop below 0 ° C.

One of the most picturesque places not only in the United States, but in the entire planet, is Yosemite National Park. Since 1984 it has been under the protection of UNESCO. Here you can see all the beauties of nature: granite cliffs, centuries-old trees, dense forests, the rarest representatives of the worlds of flora and fauna. There is also a waterfall of the same name, which is considered the highest in the country.

The main attraction of this place is Mount Half Dome, towering 1219 meters above the surrounding area. It is allowed to climb it, but for this you need to be in good physical shape.

The nature of America is its main wealth. Many of its beauties have sunk into oblivion, but some parts have been preserved. They still delight and inspire travelers and Americans alike.
