Italy - land of arts

From the series “A Journey through Italian Museums” Accademia Gallery in Venice.

Anyone who comes to Venice
will certainly strive to visit this famous museum, which is considered one of the most remarkable museums in Europe. Both the building of the museum and its exhibits are of great value, both historical and cultural. Anyone who loves the fine arts finds here a truly feast for the eyes. It houses the largest collection of paintings by famous Venetian painters of the 13-18 centuries.

Long before the trip,
many tourists book a car in Italy online in order to get a favorable rental rate and see more attractions. In Venice, the cost of a compact class car is around 25 euros per day, in Florence the cost is about the same - rent is possible from 23 euros per day.

Sometime in the 15th and 16th centuries,
this building housed the Church of Santa Maria della Carita and the monastery.

In 1750, in the newly opened Academy of Fine Arts,
the future famous masters, but for now gifted young men, began to study the fundamentals of painting and composition, so longed for by the artist, as well as architecture and sculpture. The very spirit of teaching and the atmosphere of creativity were imbued with a deep, integral perception of the harmony of all coexisting arts, the special soft, lyrical and romantic air of Venice.

In the same spirit and with the aim of increasing
the importance of Venice as one of the artistic centers, the city authorities founded this academy. By the 19th century, the Academy of Fine Arts had become a museum. The collections grew gradually. They have grown from five exhibition halls to twenty-four. Famous and wealthy people of the city with great zeal participated in the collection of the current collection of wonderful, unique paintings, forever containing the soft charm of Venetian culture ...

At the present time,
all the masters of Venice are represented in the Academy Gallery: Giovanni Batista Tiepolo, Titian, Bellini, Tintoretto and many other famous artists of Venice are represented here.

The works are placed outside the chronological order,
outside the thematic classification. At the beginning of viewing the works, it amazes the visitor, and then it becomes a pleasant originality. If you are planning to get into the Gallery and enjoy the views of Venice, which has hardly changed since those times, then keep in mind that there is always a large queue of people at the entrance who want to see masterpieces.
