Types of beaches: how to choose the right one?
Before choosing a place to relax, it is better to decide in advance which beach suits you best, because this is very important for a good holiday.
Long before the trip, many tourists book a car online to get a favorable rental rate, see more attractions and not depend on tour groups. In Heraklion, the cost of a compact class car starts from 15 euros per day, in Barcelona the cost is about the same - from 14 euros per day, in Larnaca - from 10 euros per day. Prices may vary depending on the season, car class and rental period.
There are several types of beaches according to the composition of the surface layer.
Sandy
The most popular and beloved type of beach, because it is very convenient to walk barefoot on it. For holidays with children, it is better to choose such a beach, especially since children love to build sand castles.
Pebble
The surface of this beach is covered with rounded stones. The diameter can be different: from 1 centimeter to 15. Based on this, you can choose which beach is more suitable for relaxing.
It is more convenient to walk on small pebbles, and the surface of the beach with large stones is not suitable for families with small children. Often, not only the beach is covered with large stones, but also the bottom of the reservoir, which is overgrown with mud. There is a risk of injury.
Rocky
On such a beach, you can cut yourself on stones, and in a pond they are always covered with algae. People rarely rest on such beaches, because it is almost impossible to enter the water there. Such places are suitable for taking beautiful photos if you wish.
Shell
These beaches are rare. They usually consist of a mixture of sand and shells washed up from the sea. These beaches look very impressive, as the shells shimmer beautifully in the sun. However, walking on the surface of such a beach is possible only in special shoes.
Sand and pebble
Such a beach is different: mixed sand and pebble and one where the surface is divided into two zones. The beach can be sandy, and the seabed can be rocky.
